Each piece is carefully layered to create depth, highlights, and shadows that shift beautifully with the ever changing daylight. These paper artworks originated as maquettes. Creating these scale models is an essential part of my design process, allowing me to study the interplay of light and shadow and refine the composition before moving on to the final full-size wall sculpture.
